Associate Vicar: Small Groups and Maturity
The responsibility of this Associate Vicar will be strengthening and multiplying our discipleship structures to produce spiritual maturity, in a context of intentional community.
To take responsibility for the training and growth of our small groups. We have around twenty Pastorates, and long to see an increased proportion of our church involved.
To take responsibility for our programmed discipleship, including courses, one-off events, and regular discipleship seminars.
Associate Vicar: Membership and Ministry
The responsibility of this Associate Vicar will be developing greater intentional community and service, by enhancing the experience of being part of a living body of Christians, principally on Sundays and in active ministry during the week.
To take responsibility for the relationships within and between our congregations, being aware of attendance, involvement, and by folding in new and fringe members.
To take responsibility for helping our members identify their gifts and find their place to serve, working at helping each member find their place to serve, eventually taking responsibility for our regular seminar on spiritual gifts and ministry.
To oversee the pastoral care offered more widely by the clergy and lay staff.
